Forgiveness Leads to Repentance
"God talks about being a father to the fatherless, and he was a husband when mine was absent. . . . I wish I could put into words, ‘Oh, this is what changed, this is what happened.’ But the only word I know to use is ‘God.’ What I’m forgiving Philip for is no different than what God has forgiven me for. It’s by God’s grace that we are where we are, and he’s chosen to bless us and now has given us a story that we can share with others and use to give them hope.”
