The Persistence and Love of a Friend Leads to Salvation

“My life was really turmoil. . . . It was at that point that Kathy invited me to church here at Grace. . . . She was really, really patient with me and really gentle with me, and she wasn’t accusatory, and she wasn’t condemning. She basically just said . . ., ‘There is a better way to live, and it doesn’t have to be like this. . . . Jesus died for you so that you don’t have to.’ It was a good eight or nine months before everything really sank in, and sitting in the sanctuary in the Sunday service I accepted Christ for the first time in my life, and finally made a connection between what my life was supposed to look like because of His sacrifice for me.”
